Berry announces rebranding for Athletic Department

At a Student Government Association (SGA) meeting on Tuesday, Director of Athletics Angel Mason and Berry College President Steve Briggs announced the rebranding of the Department of Athletics, which would include making the typography uniform and changing the visual logo from a Viking head to a more neutral image. The following day, the Office of the President sent an email to students announcing the rebrand and detailed the reasons behind it and several new ideas. Poor weather impact on campus sparks concerns

A number of severe thunderstorms have caused damage and disruption on Berry’s campus in recent weeks. High winds caused by a thunderstorm on March 3 shut off power and knocked down many trees, blocking road access before spring break. Another storm on April 1, with wind gusts of nearly 50 miles per hour, also uprooted several trees. Viking Fusion sports division coming to an end

After almost 15 years of covering Berry College Sports, Viking Fusion will be closing their sports division, due to expensive technical malfunctions and a lack of funding. Sexual Assault Art and Letter Showcase allows students to share experiences

The Peer Educators and BRAVE project partnered together to host the Sexual Assault Art and Letter Showcase event held on Wednesday. The event allowed Berry students and faculty to observe art, poems and letters created by fellow students discussing their personal experiences and thoughts surrounding sexual assault. Spires residents host events for students

Over the past two years, residents of the Spires have been working to hold events for Berry students. The residents have formed a committee to work together and help organize these events. In the past, the committee has hosted Fuel for Finals, where they give out snacks to students in Krannert during finals week.
