MEET Kenadie! On March 21, Block and Bridle hosted a Sheep Herding demonstration at Clara Bowl up at Ford. This demonstration consisted of multiple Border Collies herding ducks and sheep. The Berry community came together to learn about the hearing abilities of these Border Collies and watch them in action herd. This was a really unique experience and people from the audience had the opportunity to volunteer and watch the Border Collies herd the sheep throughout the volunteers. 🚨Unveiling a new show🚨 MEET Annabelle! On March 20, Dr. Shari Bissoondatt, an assistant professor at Lynn University came and spoke to the Berry community about Sex, Gender, and the Reproduction of Christian-Colonial Ideas in the Caribbean. Her presentation addressed several pressing issues in recent times specifically the topic of systematic racism. She spent a good amount of time talking through decolonization and how this impacted the people of the Caribbean. She opened the audiences eyes to real life problems Caribbean civilians face rather than just seeing this place as a dream travel destination.
