Moon Gallery hosts annual student honors art show

The Moon Gallery is showcasing the Annual Student Honors Art Show, an exhibition highlighting students’ artwork created during the academic year. Organized by Art Program Coordinator Brad Adams, the show brings together pieces from a range of various styles and art classes, giving students the opportunity to submit their work for selection by an outside juror and have it displayed in a formal gallery setting. Carrier’s Greatest Hits

Having served the community since 1908, the weekly publication of the Campus Carrier has kept Berry students, faculty and staff informed for over 100 years. Student newspapers at Berry began with the Boys’ Industrial School Advance in the early 1900’s. Later, in 1911, it became the Berry School News before transitioning into the Mount Berry News. Finally, in the 1960-1961 school year, students were asked to suggest a new name for the paper. Kevin Kleine: A 37-Year Legacy

Never forget the intrinsic value that beauty holds

Nearly four years ago, when I was starting as a freshman at Berry, I wrote my first opinion piece for the Campus Carrier. It was about the importance of studying and appreciating the humanities, something I was just becoming passionate about. Our View: Mentorship is the key to growth and success

Success is rarely something achieved alone. Behind the person who accomplishes something grand, there is usually a person who guides them, offering encouragement and constructive criticism along the way. Mentorship is where a more experienced or knowledgeable person provides advice, support and knowledge to someone going through similar motions in life that they once did. Mentorship is essential because it assists in personal growth, expands opportunity, strengthens communities and prepares individuals for the lives ahead of them.
