In this episode, we will be interviewing multiple guests from the Berry College Theatre Company’s upcoming production, “Songs for a New World”. Our first guests will be actors Ella Hazel Rambin, Brian Thomas, and Wyatt Spivey, who are some of the main characters of the show. Next, we will talk to Grace Robershaw, the stage manager of the show. Then, we will round things up with Molly Merck and Preston Green, who make up the entirety of the ensemble cast. Berry coaches reflect on past year, prepare for the future
As the 2025-2026 academic year draws to a close, athletic teams across campus are reflecting on their seasons, pushing through the home stretch of current seasons, and preparing for the future. As with every year, some athletes from each team will not be returning next year after graduation. For head football coach Tony Kunczewski, this means a staggering 34 players will not be returning. BCDC leaps into spring showcase
The Berry College Dance Company (BCDC) will perform their spring showcase on April 24, at 7:00 p.m. in Sister’s Theatre. Directed by Lecturer and Director of Dance, Sarah Pecina, the performance will feature various styles of dance, including ballet, contemporary, tap and jazz. The Moon Gallery is showcasing the Annual Student Honors Art Show, an exhibition highlighting students’ artwork created during the academic year. Organized by Art Program Coordinator Brad Adams, the show brings together pieces from a range of various styles and art classes, giving students the opportunity to submit their work for selection by an outside juror and have it displayed in a formal gallery setting. Nearly four years ago, when I was starting as a freshman at Berry, I wrote my first opinion piece for the Campus Carrier. It was about the importance of studying and appreciating the humanities, something I was just becoming passionate about. Success is rarely something achieved alone. Behind the person who accomplishes something grand, there is usually a person who guides them, offering encouragement and constructive criticism along the way. Mentorship is where a more experienced or knowledgeable person provides advice, support and knowledge to someone going through similar motions in life that they once did. Mentorship is essential because it assists in personal growth, expands opportunity, strengthens communities and prepares individuals for the lives ahead of them.
