Remembering forgotten stories: Black History Month in Rome

On February 10, 1976, 38th United States President Gerald Ford became the first president to issue a message officially recognizing the month of February as Black History Month. Now the Month of February serves as a time to remember and honor the legacy of African American individuals throughout history, from well-known civil rights leaders like Martin Luther King Jr. and Harriet Tubman, to local community members who fought for freedoms in their hometowns. The ups and downs of being a resident assistant

One of the biggest draws of attending Berry is the LifeWorks program, which allows every student to have an on-campus job. There are many different jobs available, and they can range from working on the grounds crew to writing for the student publications and conducting research. Berry college is a residential college, meaning that most students live on campus. The fall semester is finally winding down to a close, and students are yearning to finish up their classes to head home and enjoy the holiday season. Following up with last year’s study abroad students

One of the many exciting opportunities that Berry offers is the chance for students to take academic courses in other countries around the world. These opportunities come in different forms, with some programs inviting students to travel abroad for an entire semester, while others allow students to take classes over the summer with Berry faculty.
