Overnight storms cause tree damage across campus

Last night, storm warnings were issued for Atlanta and North Georgia as Tropical Storm Zeta hit the northern part of the state. At approximately seven this morning, officials announced through the Berry Alert system that Berry was experiencing campus-wide power outages. At 10 a.m., it was announced that all classes for the day had been officially cancelled, with only emergency personnel reporting for work. Wind and rain from the storm caused significant damage to trees and plant life across campus, as shown in the pictures in this photo series.
