Every year, Berry College hosts Solidarity Week, where speakers, performers, and artists are invited to educate Berry students on peace and belonging, reflecting some of Berry’s core principles.
The Visual Arts Gallery and Performing Arts Showcase displays the work of not only Berry students and staff, but also the art of Berry College Elementary and Middle School students. Their works help represent each person’s perspective of serenity, reflecting on the idea of fellowship and individuality in a community.
The Good Neighbor Center hosted Bridging the Divide: Psychiatric Care Access as a Path to Peace and Equity, where junior Tanner Huey interviewed trained professionals on mental health and peace in healthcare
Singer-songwriter Jamie Grace also made an appearance, as she performed a few of her songs and spoke to the audience regarding her faith and finding herself through song.
