Riley Uhls emerges as one of the country’s best hitters

Junior Riley Uhls of the Berry College Vikings baseball team has had a career year so far. After 25 games, the first baseman slashed a .402 batting average, 1.115 OPS, .673 slugging percentage and totaled six home runs. Uhls also leads all of Division III in RBIs (runs batted in) at 54. Uhls headlines the Viking offense who ranks among the best in the country in runs scored per game. 
“I was definitely expecting the year I am currently having,” Uhls said. “I have always set high standards for myself and having the year that I am having now was one of those expectations that I had. Viking Crew wraps up successful season of competition

The Berry College Viking Crew recently wrapped up their spring schedule of competitions and a busy year of recruitment and growth. Viking Crew’s training season takes place during the fall, as they prepare for races in the spring. It can be hard for their rowers to stay motivated through the tough workouts and long weeks. Men’s basketball team finishes with a historic season

The 2024-2025 men’s basketball season came to an end when Berry lost to Emory University in the second round of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) by a score of 84-68. This season was a historic year for the Vikings with many accomplishments and awards being won along the way. The Vikings finished the year with a 20-9 overall record and a 10-2 conference record. Looking back on “Remember the Titans” 25 years later

One of Berry’s biggest bragging points is its one-of-a-kind campus. Because of its size and beauty, it has often drawn national attention, consistently being rated one of the most beautiful college campuses in America. Berry has a history of being a popular place for movie filming locations, and one of the most famous projects filmed here celebrates its 25th anniversary of being released in 2025. Beach volleyball looks to sustain early season success

The 2025 beach volleyball season has begun with the Vikings coming out hot, winning six of their first seven matchups. The Vikings swept the Huntingdon Beach Bash to kick off the season and took two of three games during the Spring Hill College Classic. Unlike other sports at Berry, the beach team will compete against Division I,II and III programs while also competing against two-year colleges and NAIA programs. At the end of the season, the team will compete in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) division III championship against all of the division III programs. Taking the temperature of Berry’s school spirit

Last September, two Berry students turned an idea into reality. For Daphne Tremps and Kate Dempsey, this meant gathering fellow classmates to form The Fleet: an interest group that seeks to raise school spirit and student engagement at Berry athletic games. With their sights set on becoming an official club soon, both ladies have been working long hours to spread their passion for Berry sports to everyone they know.
