Following a shortened season that saw the Berry softball team go 12-2 and rise to #14 in the final National Fastpitch Coaches Association top-25 rankings, former interim coach Emily Stanley has been named the new head coach of the team.

Stanley took over as the interim coach following the resignation of Cori Thiermann in 2019. Prior to that, she was an assistant under Thiermann for five seasons, during which Berry won four Southern Athletic Association titles and advanced to the NCAA Super Regional for the first time in school history.
